I know this is a new website and there isn't much stuff on here, but once people start joining the website will start hopping with events. Does anyone have recommendations of how to make this website better?

Maybe a chat room?
Sorry but i think chat rooms are an invasion of privacy and i cant monitor that well on them.

I think that we can get more people if we connect the site with other sites like Google+, facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc.

The problem is I don't really have a Facebook account, but maybe I could try Google+ and Twitter. Maybe I could make a Facebook.
